Black Sheep is looking for a salesperson for its Beltline location. You will be the first contact for customers in our store. You will be in charge of assisting customers in finding a product best suited for them.

Duties:

• Welcome customers;

• Provide advice and expertise about the products;

• Sell viennoiseries, pastries and other products;

• Sell and prepare drinks;

• Make sure the cases are full and look attractive;

• Light cleaning duties;

• Light baking duties;

Conditions:

$16/h + tips (approx $3.5/h for 40h/week) + end of contract bonus (under conditions).

Job located downtown Calgary.

Three-month contract with possibility to sign up for another 6-month contract or a permanent contract if conditions are met.

Requirements:

Ideally you are a professional of customer service in the food industry with some basic knowledge of French/European artisanal food production.

You are perfectly fluent in French (a large part of our customers are French).

You have a flawless knowledge of traditional french pastries and viennoiseries.

You are personable and have impeccable customer service skills.

You are available to work on weekends and stat holidays (non negotiable).

Black Sheep is looking for a Dishwasher/Janitor for its Beltline location. In collaboration with the teams, you will be in charge of maintaining an irreproachable level of cleanliness in the store and the kitchen. The dishwasher/Janitor is a key position as it supports both teams (front and kitchen).

​

Duties:

• Daily kitchen dishwashing and occasionally café dishwashing when the café is too busy;

• Daily janitorial duties (washrooms; floors...)

• Weekly janitorial duties (cabinets, fridges, walls, baseboards...)

• Supplies reception: you will have to receive the supplies deliveries (3-4/week) from our suppliers.

Conditions:

$15/h + tips (approx $3.5/h for 40h/week).

Job located downtown Calgary.

Requirements:

Ideally you have some experience as a janitor and/or dishwasher.

You have tons of common sense and know how to wash dishes without transforming the kitchen into a swimming pool.

You can lift 20 kg.

You are efficient and take pride in a work well done.

You are reliable and  hard working.
